Nimvella Privacy Policy

Nimvella is a private, local-first productivity app for tasks, notes, calendar items, and focus sessions. It is developed and operated by Ahmed Azier.

This policy explains what information Nimvella processes, where that information is stored, and the choices available to you. By using Nimvella, you acknowledge the practices described here.

Nimvella processes the information you choose to enter in the app, including:

• Tasks, completion states, priorities, and due information
• Notes, note formatting, links, and pinned status
• Calendar items and event details
• Focus-session choices and timer state
• Appearance, accessibility, sound, and notification preferences
• An optional display name used only for your Today greeting
• Onboarding and other app-state preferences

This information is processed to provide the features you request. It is not used to build an advertising profile.

Nimvella does not transmit your tasks, notes, events, display name, or preferences to Ahmed Azier or to a developer-operated server. Nimvella does not require an account.

The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, third-party tracking technology, or third-party data-collection SDK. Ahmed Azier does not sell, rent, or share your Nimvella content.

Apple may process App Store, device-backup, diagnostic, and operating-system information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. Those Apple services are not operated by Nimvella.

If you enable notifications, Nimvella can schedule local focus-completion reminders on your device. Notification sounds use Apple’s standard system notification sound and can be disabled from Nimvella or iOS Settings.

Nimvella can register with the Apple Push Notification service (APNs). Apple may process notification-delivery information and an app-specific device token under Apple’s privacy policy. The current version keeps that token in memory only and does not transmit it to Ahmed Azier or to a developer-operated server.

Your Apple device-backup settings may include Nimvella’s local container in an iCloud or computer backup. Apple controls those backup services. Nimvella does not operate a separate cloud-sync or backup service.

No method of electronic storage is guaranteed to be completely secure. You should protect your device with a passcode and keep iOS up to date.

Your content remains in Nimvella’s private app container until you delete individual items, use a deletion option in Nimvella, or remove the app from your device.

Nimvella requests notification permission only when you choose to enable reminders. You can review or revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings.

This version does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, precise location, health data, or advertising identifier.

Nimvella does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other user. Because Nimvella has no developer-operated account or content backend, Ahmed Azier does not receive the productivity content entered into the app.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to Nimvella, legal requirements, or privacy practices. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the policy changes.

If a future version adds cloud sync, accounts, analytics, a notification provider server, or another feature that changes data practices, this policy and the relevant App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that version is released.
